CALVI ON THE ROCKS
From 4 to 7 July 2024
Imagine yourself on Calvi's fine sandy beach, with a breathtaking view of the citadel and an electrifying atmosphere. Welcome to Calvi on the Rocks, a festival that since 2003 has become a benchmark among French festivals, while maintaining a friendly, intimate atmosphere.
The festival offers free concerts and sets during the day, followed by ticketed performances from 7pm at the Eden Port. With its high-quality electro line-up, Calvi on the Rocks continues to attract the hottest artists of the moment for a discerning audience. Once again this year, the festival is set to become the must-attend summer event, offering four days and nights of festivities in the idyllic setting of the Bay of Calvi.
Set against the idyllic backdrop of the Bay of Calvi, this unique event combines heavenly beaches with renowned artistic performances. Since 2003, it has become a benchmark among French festivals.
GUITAR NIGHTS
From 18 to 25 July 2024
The Corsican festival Les Nuits de la Guitare de Patrimonio is celebrating its 33rd edition this year. From 18 to 25 July 2024, star performers such as The Wailers, Christophe Maé, Pascal Obispo and many others will be showcasing a wide variety of styles, all united by their love of the guitar.
Every year, almost 20,000 music lovers gather around a menhir in the Théâtre de Verdure. The village is transformed to welcome the stars and the public in the best possible conditions.
The concerts will take place outdoors, in the enchanting setting of Patrimonio. Imagine yourself at the foot of the Corsican vineyards, enjoying some top-quality music. You'll be immersed in a friendly, festive atmosphere, under the starry evenings, while the spellbinding notes of the artists present echo around you.
FIERA DI L'ALIVU
From 20 to 21 July 2024
For many years, the Foyer Rural de Montegrossu has helped to make "A Fiera di l'Alivu" a renowned, high-quality rural event with a strong sense of identity.
This event showcases Corsican olive oil through tastings and combinations with local produce, all in a convivial atmosphere. As well as tastings, visitors can meet craftsmen and artists who use wood and olive fruit in demonstrations and events.
Every year, the Olive Fair attracts 10,000 enthusiastic visitors. Labelled a "remarkable taste site" by the Conseil National de l'Art Culinaire, this fair is a must for food lovers.
FESTI CORE DI BALAGNA
From 23 to 24 July 2024
This summer, Calvi will be vibrating to the rhythm of the Festival Core di Balagna, an exceptional new musical event taking place at the Calvi - Balagne sports complex. With a dream line-up featuring songwriting legends such as Véronique Sanson and Gilbert Montagné, as well as up-and-coming talents such as Kareen Antonn and the Corsican group Olmia, the festival promises two unforgettable days of music and celebration. LAMA FILM FESTIVAL
From 27 July to 2 August 2024
Like Cannes, the village of Lama has its own Film Festival, with all the authenticity and conviviality typical of the Balagne region and Corsica.
Discover the Lama Film Festival, a not-to-be-missed event on the Corsican film scene, which is back in force this year for its 30th edition!
Every year, this international event attracts nearly 10,000 visitors to enjoy high-quality outdoor screenings. Nearly 70 films are screened at four venues, three of them outdoor, offering a varied selection of feature-length previews and meetings with the film crews.
ALMOND FAIR

FESTIVAL OF SANTA MARIA
15 August 2024
Dive into the heart of an age-old tradition in Calvi, where 15 August comes alive with palpable intensity. The streets light up at dawn for the Feast of the Virgin Mary, vibrating to the sound of song and colour during a solemn procession to the church. Meanwhile, the majestic chapel of Notre-Dame de la Serra dominates the town, offering a peaceful sanctuary for a mass dedicated to this saintly figure, with a breathtaking view over the bay of Calvi.
After the religious rituals, the town comes alive with cultural events, street performances and craft markets, showing visitors the authenticity and richness of Corsican culture. The day ends in style with a spectacular fireworks display, illuminating the starry Calvi sky for an unforgettable experience.
